Huntington Project Web Site Closing May 1, 2009

Dear Huntington Project Web Site Visitors,

The Huntington Project was created in 2003 with specific aims in mind:

  1. increase communication within the community
  2. facilitate opportunities for clinical research (COHORT)
  3. provide a forum to evaluate research initiatives (SET-HD)

Happily, the mechanisms for sustaining these processes are in place and are now operating independently. Therefore, we will close the Huntington Project web site in early May 2009.

Thank you for your support and interest.

Sincerely,
(on behalf of the Huntington Project Communications Group)

Community

Individuals with Huntington’s disease can participate in clinical research at various levels of comfort. Whether you just want to know more about clinical trials but wish to remain anonymous; are considering a trial and wish to be contacted; or are interested in participating in a trial, the Huntington Project welcomes your involvement.

In addition to participating in clinical trials, you may also contribute to the project by:
  • Encouraging the involvement of family members
  • Contacting the National HD Research Roster(www.iupui.edu/~medgen/research/hd/research_roster.html)
  • Visiting the Huntington Project web site (huntingtonproject.org)
  • Writing to your congressperson about the importance of HD research
